Dr. Samuel Halim, co-founder and CEO of Avantama Samuel Halim received his PhD in chemical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). He studied materials engineering in Zurich, Lausanne and Stockholm. He is a co-inventor of a technology acquired by a Fortune 100 company and is the recipient of the 2009 Venture Leader Award.
Dr. Norman Lüchinger, co-founder and CTO of Avantama Norman received his PhD in chemical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) after completing his studies in materials engineering in Zurich and Sydney, Australia. During his studies, Norman developed several patents, materials and proprietary processes. He is the recipient of the Quadrant Award and the ETH Medal for the best doctoral thesis.
